Going into the 2024 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers have four significant holes in their lineup. Two of those holes are on the offensive line, at center and right tackle (if they want to move Broderick Jones back to his natural position on the left). This has sparked a flurry of rumors that the Steelers would be interested in Oregon center prospect Jackson Powers-Johnson, who is regarded by most NFL draft experts as the best center prospect.

But just because a need is obvious doesn’t mean Pittsburgh will pick to fill it on the first day of the draft.

In fact, according to rumors, the Steelers plan to wait on center and select one on Day 2 (Mark Kaboly of The Athletic revealed this information during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan). In normal situations, this wouldn’t come as a major surprise because centers aren’t often selected in the first round of the draft. But, supporters may be eager to step up to fill the void as the Steelers don’t currently have a center on their roster following Mason Cole’s departure.

A few centers, like Zach Frazier of WVU, who was announced to be hosting for a “local visit” in early March, could be suitable candidates in Round 2.

Don’t be surprised if the Steelers elect to use their first round pick on an option at tackle to complement second-year OT Broderick Jones, with a number of viable options likely to fall to No. 20.REPORT: The Steelers do not wish to select a "address center" in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

With where things stand today, what position do you hope the Steelers address in Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft?
