REPORT: The analyst makes a big claim regarding DJ Moore.
The discussion about which NFL wide receivers are among the best has raged online for some months, particularly given the NFL’s current quality level.
While numerous players can claim that spot, one analyst’s startling admission puts Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore near the top of the list.
NFL fantasy analyst Adam Rank named Moore a top-four wide receiver after three other excellent athletes: Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, and Ja’Marr Chase.
Moore ranked sixth in the NFL with 1,364 receiving yards and 13th with 100 receptions last season.
Moore accomplished this without an elite quarterback, which is a more impressive performance.
Rank’s comments could be confirmed this season, as Chicago possesses the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and the Bears are expected to select Caleb Williams.
Chicago also holds the No. 9 pick, which gives the Bears another opportunity to draft either a young wide receiver to complement Moore or a high-end offensive lineman to block for his future NFL quarterback.
Last season, Hill topped the league in receiving yards with 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.
Chase battled injuries throughout the season, but the Cincinnati Bengals receiver finished with 100 receptions, 1,216 yards, and seven touchdowns.
Jefferson was the league’s leading receiver when he suffered an injury in Week 5, cutting short his season with the Minnesota Vikings.
If Rank is to be believed, Moore may even surge past one of the three in 2024.
