Milan are not interested in making Antonio Conte their next manager this summer.
Stefano Pioli’s future at the club is all but guaranteed, and the Rossoneri have been linked with a number of names. The club appeared to be interested in Julen Lopetegui, but online complaints forced Milan to abandon their pursuit of the Spaniard’s signature and move on to other names.
Conte has been linked with Milan in recent weeks but it doesn’t seem as if the Rossoneri interested. Alfredo Pedulla (via CN24) has reported that while Napoli have stopped short in their potential move for the Italian, Milan aren’t interested in him -yet. Napoli’s most valid solution currently is Stefano Pioli, who will be offered a contract once his Milan deal is terminated.
Napoli have also been linked with the likes of Gian Piero Gasperini and Vincenzo Italiano. But now that Conte doesn’t tickle even Milan’s fancy, it would be interesting to see where he ends up.
