Fabio Silva has acknowledged that if a permanent contract were offered, he would stay at Rangers.

Back in January, the Wolves forward signed a contract to play on loan at Ibrox until the end of the current campaign. Since his arrival, 21-year-old Silva has scored four goals in 13 games and built a respectable rapport with his offensive teammates. After scoring once more against Hibs in the Scottish Cup quarterfinal yesterday, many wondered what the Portuguese player, who came to Wolves in 2020 for a hefty £35 million transfer from FC Porto, may be up to.As he outlines signing restrictions, Fabio Silva is amenable to joining the Rangers.

The striker believes he would be willing to sign a contract if a deal could be reached by the conclusion of this term, but Gers won’t pay that tantalizing amount.

When asked if he would consider staying after his loan period, Silva said to Sportscene, “We still have two months of football left to win trophies, so this isn’t the most important thing right now.

“I think after that if you win titles and everything’s going the right way, Rangers and me will do everything for me to stay.”
