Milan and Rafael Leao reveal their capsule collections, while the star striker teases his future ambitions.
Milan has released a capsule collection designed in partnership with its star striker Rafael Leao, who describes the Rossoneri as ‘a second family’ to him.
Milan and Leao have introduced a capsule collection, which was formally launched on Tuesday afternoon via the club’s official website and social media channels. Milan statement “AC Milan is pleased to unveil the exclusive ACM x RL10 capsule collection, developed in collaboration with their star player Rafael Leão,” the club said in a press release.
“Known for his on-field prowess, distinctive smile, and unique style, Leão represents the new generation of talents nurtured by AC Milan and now making their mark on the global stage.” Leão’s strength, agility, speed, and attitude have made him an international football star, capturing Rossoneri fans worldwide with his performances in the number 10 jersey.
The motto “Every day is a new wave, every day is a day of surfing” runs throughout the collection, capturing the essence of Rafa’s renowned celebration while also expressing the world of surfing, waves, family, and streetwear style. The collection draws inspiration from ocean waves and recalls Leão’s goal celebrations on social media, including the words “We go” and the surfer emoji. The collection immerses supporters in both AC Milan and Leão’s personal world, representing the Club’s inventive nature and the optimistic spirit of the Portuguese footballer.
Leao hints to his Milan future. The Rossoneri star stated, “AC Milan is like a second family to me, and I have had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. In this environment, I’ve been able to pursue several of my extracurricular interests, including music and fashion. The ACM x RL10 line is another milestone in my development; it talks to my followers and fully embodies me. My goal is to share my experience and inspire all of the boys and girls that follow me to never give up on their aspirations.
Last summer, Leao signed a contract extension with Milan that ran until June 2028. The deal includes a €175 million clause, but the Portuguese striker appears to be immensely happy at San Siro, as seen by his latest remarks. The club’s CEO, Giorgio Furlani, has also stated that the Rossoneri do not intend to sell Leao or any other great player in the summer for financial reasons.
Leao has 13 goals and 12 assists in 40 games across all competitions this season. The Portuguese star signed the Rossoneri from Lille for €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons, while Tiago Djalo has now joined Milan’s rivals Juventus. Leao has 56 goals in 203 outings with the Rossoneri.
