In a tragic turn of events, a father of two was electrocuted while working on a high tension pole near Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred around noon on Thursday, when the man, identified as Michael Thompson, was performing routine maintenance on the electrical infrastructure.

 

 

 

Thompson, who worked as an electrical lineman for a local utility company, had been working on the pole for several hours when the accident occurred. According to witnesses, Thompson was seen ascending the pole with his safety harness and equipment in place, but something went wrong as he was nearing the top.
