pundit believes rangers should fire clement following the international break following their defeat to celtic.
Craig Moore claims that if Rangers lose to Dundee United following their Old Firm loss to Celtic, Philippe Clement will be fired. After losing 3-0 at Parkhead on Sunday, September 1, the Light Blues fell five points behind their Old Firm opponents in the Premiership title battle going into the September international break.
Go Radio analyst Moore has concurred with a fan that even if the Gers only gave Clement a new contract at the beginning of the campaign, the Belgian will face “huge pressure” if he loses his first game back following the break. The supporter stated, “I think two weeks on Sunday night, if he doesn’t beat Dundee United, he’ll be gone,” on The Go Radio Football Show (1 September, 25:50). Moore shot back, saying, “Once more, I can’t disagree—there’s a ton of pressure
Rangers will not instantly overtake Celtic in the title race if they fire the manager because there are many more pressing problems facing the football team than his management; yet, he will be the first to lose his job if the team’s performance doesn’t improve.
Barring an excellent display over Ross County, who were absolutely awful at Hampden Park, the Gers have looked off of the pace and uninspired so far this season, both in the league and Champions League qualifying
