JUST IN: Why Milan declined the chance to sign Real Madrid midfielder in a cut-price deal?.
AC Milan‘s interest in signing Dani Ceballos, who may be available at a reduced price from Real Madrid, has flared in recent days, according to reports.
Ceballos was reportedly placed up for sale for €8 million by Real Madrid yesterday, as the club seeks to unload a midfielder who has played only 228 minutes in 14 LaLiga matches this season.
However, Calciomercato.com reports that, contrary to popular belief, Milan is not interested in the Spaniard.
Agents and representatives have offered many players to the Rossoneri in recent weeks, as those in charge of players are testing the waters ahead of the summer and do not want to be caught off guard.
Geoffrey Moncada, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Antonio D’Ottavio, who will be in control of the summer transfer window, have definite plans to sign a central defender, a left back, a defensive midfielder, and a striker.
As a result, the lack of interest in Ceballos is driven by the necessity to address other parts of the pitch. Ruben Loftus-Cheek will remain the starting attacking midfielder, with Christian Pulisic a probable replacement.
