Chicago Bears’ Reaction to Caleb Williams’s Hilarious Disclosure of a Huge Signing Bonus during a Team Meeting.

Caleb Williams, the rookie quarterback for the Chicago Bears, is accustomed to the limelight. In the 2021 recruiting class, Williams was regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the nation after graduating from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C. He followed head coach Lincoln Riley to USC as a sophomore after playing a large amount of snaps as a freshman at Oklahoma. His incredible second college season at USC earned him the Heisman Trophy.

In 2024, Williams becomes the new starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears after being chosen with the first overall choice in the NFL draft. In a team meeting with the Bears, Williams—a player who really doesn’t need an introduction—gave one, and he did it in a hilarious way in the teaser for the new HBO Hard Knocks series that is themed around the franchise.

My name is Caleb Williams. I attended Oklahoma and USC. Still with the horns down. Continue the fight. And I’m getting a $25.5 [million] signing bonus,” he said.

As the conference room burst into applause and cheers, general manager Ryan Poles could only shake his head and smile. On the field, hopefully, Williams can leave as big of an impression as he did at his first team meeting with the Bears.
