Eels surprise everyone by replacing Moses.

SHOCKEN: Eels surprise everyone by replacing Moses.

The Wests Tigers on Easter Monday will see the Eels start young gun Blaize Talagi in the halves in place of injured Mitchell Moses, who could be sidelined for up to two months due to a fractured foot.

Dylan Brown was picked at halfback, so Talagi, who made a great debut last week with a try against the Sea Eagles, will move to five-eighth.

Parramatta has named Bryce Cartwright, which is fantastic news because there were concerns that he would miss up to a month due to a rib injury.

Halfback carnage continues this week as representative star Nathan Cleary is ruled out of Thursday’s match against the Roosters due to a hamstring injury sustained during the win over Brisbane.

The club hopes that the injury is not as serious as initially thought, and he may play again next week. However, his absence means that Brad Schneider, the son of legendary Panther Mark, could make his club debut in the second half, while Mavrik Geyer, the rookie NRL player, will likely start from the bench.

Lindsay Collins (hamstring) and Sandon Smith (elbow) are also out for the Roosters, which raises issues of their own. However, Luke Keary returns from a head hit, while halves partner Sam Walker is free to play after his category one was dropped.

Despite a solid showing in reserve grade last week, Souths have decided not to rush Lachlan Ilias back into the halves. Dean Hawkins will start for Souths in the crucial match against Canterbury.

For the Queensland derby against the undefeated Cowboys, the Broncos welcome back captain Adam Reynolds from a knee injury. Tristan Sailor is in to replace Reece Walsh due to a facial fracture.

Although he came off late last week with an ankle injury, North Queensland named Reuben Cotter, and Brendan Piakura is also out for Brisbane after he injured his ankle during training.

Due to injuries, middle forwards Toby Rudolf (ankle), Dale Finucane (head knock), and Royce Hunt (calf) will not be playing for the Sharks on Sunday against Canberra.

This necessitated a lineup change, with Tom Hazelton moving up to the starting lineup, Siosifa Talakai moving to the back row, and Kayal Iro beginning at center.SHOCKEN: Eels surprise everyone by replacing Moses.

With Adam Pompey starting at center and Taine Tuaupiki out due to a concussion, Warriors coach Andrew Webster was forced to transfer superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to fullback.

Jayden Campbell, who is listed as a fullback, gives the Titans some much-needed firepower this week. David Fifita, on the other hand, is listed as a reserve for what would be his first game of the seasons.
