The goalkeeper, who joined the club in the summer, has made an excellent impact at Ibrox this season, earning two awards for his efforts. Butland, who has recently been linked with a comeback to the England side, received both the players’ and club player of the season honors at the presentation on Sunday night. Rangers‘ Ross McCausland was awarded young player of the season, while Rabbi Matondo received the goal of the season trophy for his score against Celtic earlier this month. At the award ceremony, James Tavernier was named top goal scorer, while Connor Goldson was honored with the John Greig CBE accomplishment award.

Cole McKinnon was voted academy player of the year, and Bailey Rice scored the B-Team goal of the season. The four Rangers women’s team accolades were won by various players. Kirsty MacLean was the women’s player of the season, and Mia McAulay was named the women’s player of the year. Rio Hardy was named women’s top goal scorer, while Nicola Docherty won women’s goal of the season.
