Philippe Clement has opened the door for Rangers defender Leon Balogun to sign a new contract at Ibrox this summer. The Nigeria international has been linked with a departure as his contract with the Scottish club expires at the end of the season.

“To see how everybody trains, plays, behaves, works, shows resilience in the next couple of weeks because you want to be successful with this club so we need the right players in the building.” Rangers must give Leon Balogun a one-year deal. Keeping a veteran like Balogun at Ibrox may be a good decision for the club, despite his age and the necessity for a short-term contract.
