Breaking News: Will Dele Alli ever return to the Everton team?
As Everton and the Tottenham star come to an understanding, Dele Alli shares a photo with Grealish.
Following the signing of a new contract with the 27-year-old, Everton midfielder Dele Alli uploaded a photo of himself, Tottenham star Son Heung-min, and Gareth Bale during London Fashion Week.
Due to recurring injury concerns, Alli has not appeared for the Toffees under Sean Dyche’s direction. According to sources from the Sunday Mirror (18 February), they have given the midfielder time off to concentrate on his recuperation.
The 27-year-old shared photos of himself with Son, Bale, and Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell on Instagram on Tuesday, February 20, suggesting that he used the time off to catch up with a few former Spurs teammates.
Jack Grealish quickly responded to a few comments, writing: “Tell chilly to keep his jacket on next time.”
Is Dele Alli going to be an Everton player again?
Given that Alli’s present injury problem appears to be improving before the Premier League season resumes, it is now highly uncertain if he will ever don an Everton shirt again.
Instead of being on the training field, Sean Dyche has stated time and time again that the 27-year-old is still a long way from returning to the first squad, and that is not likely to change while he is attending London Fashion Week.
The majority of fans will be eager to see Alli return to the pitch sooner rather than later, particularly in light of the courageous way he shared his off-field struggles with Gary Neville throughout the previous few seasons and in his early years.
The Toffees might profit monetarily from his absence, though, since it spares them from having to pay Spurs an additional clause. Rushing him back might not be as vital as that, given the dire financial situation at Goodison Park.
