BREAKING NEWS: Stephen Moore expresses regret to LeBron James.
LeBron James received an apology from Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday for his comment that “the Clippers going to bust their a– tomorrow night.”
Despite trailing the Lakers by as many as 21 points, James rallied to outscore the Clippers 19–16 in the fourth quarter and lead the team to victory.
Stephen A. claims that it is now necessary for him to “step down.”
Smith declared on First Take, “I just do owe LeBron James an apology.” “LeBron James was incredible.” Seeing him play in the fourth quarter and nail those three-pointers made me realize that he is 39 years old and in his 21st season of basketball.
I had to step aside and acknowledge on national television that LeBron James is the one and only. His magnificence was so sublime and spectacular that I have to sit up there and give him tremendous, massive props. Lord have mercy, LeBron James was something amazing last night. I apologize, LeBron James.
LeBron James, in his 21st season, is averaging 25.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game. He has had an amazing season.
In his 21st season, James has already surpassed all other players in points scored.
Of course, the main issue is that the Lakers are still, for the most part, rather unimpressive.
Despite LeBron’s persistent, not-so-subtle persuasion, the team did not make any moves during the deadline, and they are currently sitting at 32-28.
The Lakers will play at home against the Washington Wizards tomorrow before hosting the Denver Nuggets on Saturday to wrap up their home stand.
