It looks like Newcastle United will soon welcome back two important players from injuries.

Alexander Isak and Joe Willock are reportedly back in training as the Magpies get ready for their away match against Arsenal on Saturday night.

Eddie Howe’s team is going to face extreme difficulty in this game, so having one or both of them available would be quite beneficial.

It will be especially thrilling to see Joe Willock return because he had a really miserable season. The £25 million player has missed a great deal of games because of injuries, and his Achilles ailment is becoming a major problem.

Though he has been greatly missed, it appears he is getting closer to making a comeback. Howe will be thrilled to hear this, but it may also put one of Newcastle’s regular starts in jeopardy.

Newcastle may soon switch up their midfield.

Willock needs to be a fixture in the Newcastle starting lineup once he regains maximum fitness. With no one able to match his athleticism both in and out of possession, we have missed him terribly.

That will require one of the Magpies’ current midfield players to exit the team, and Bruno Guimaraes is most likely not the choice.

Lewis Miley and Sean Longstaff, two Geordies who haven’t exactly complemented one another this season, are consequently in a tie for first place.

Given how much Miley has had to play at 17, there will be an urge to bench him, but Longstaff should be more concerned.
