BREAKING NEWS: Nikora agrees to a two-game suspension.
Back-rower Briton Nikora of the Sharks will miss the next two games after pleading guilty early on Friday night to a Grade 2 reckless high tackle on Bulldogs opponent Viliame Kikau.
After the incident in the first half of PointsBet Stadium’s 25-6 victory over Canterbury, Nikora was given a sin bin. If Nikora had been able to refute the charge, he would have received a three-game suspension because it was his second offense.
The 26-year-old will miss the Round 4 home game against the Raiders on Easter Sunday as well as Saturday’s matchup at Leichhardt Oval against the Wests Tigers.
