BREAKING NEWS: Maxx Crosby is regarded as one of the league’s best players by defensive line draft prospects.
Maxx Crosby, who recently concluded his sixth season in the NFL, is undoubtedly having an impact on the upcoming class of NFL players.
When asked which current player in the league they look up to, defensive line prospects at the NFL Combine on Wednesday gave the most common response: Defensive Player of the Year finalist and three-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby, who finished 2023 with a career-high 14.5 sacks and 23 tackles for loss.
Florida State’s Jared Verse, an edge rusher, described him as “relentless” in his play style.
“He and I both have very long arms,” Darius Robinson of Missouri continued. “He turns his shoulders all the time. Plays with a constant energy and truly establishes a benchmark for D-line performance.”
“It would be insane to play with a guy like Maxx Crosby,” Byron Murphy II of Texas remarked. “I’ve never played with a guy like that.”
