BREAKING NEWS: Kings vs. Lakers: Scouting reports and injury updates on LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Cam Reddish.
LeBron James, the star of the Los Angeles Lakers, is questionable for Wednesday’s game versus the Kings at Crypto.com Arena due to his health.
With one and a half games separating them in the Western Conference playoff race, the Kings and Lakers are attempting to avoid having to play a play-in game. One game behind the Phoenix Suns for the No. 6 seed, the Kings (34-26) are ranked seventh in the Western Conference. Sixteen games behind the Suns in ninth place are the Lakers (34-29).
James’ left ankle peroneal tendinopathy is the reason the Lakers have him listed as questionable. Cam Reddish (ankle) and Anthony Davis (achilles) are expected. The following players have been ruled out: Christian Wood (knee), Gabe Vincent (knee), Jarred Vanderbilt (foot), and Colin Castleton (wrist).
Sasha Vezenkov, who is anticipated to miss another week or so due to a sprained right ankle, will not be playing for the Kings.
