BREAKING NEWS: Journo updates the Rangers team against the Hearts twice following Monday’s developments.

Following their Monday, February 19, B team appearances, Joshua Barrie has revealed that Ben Davies and Leon Balogun may both be added back to the Rangers roster for their match against Hearts.

After missing time due to injury in recent weeks, both players now seem to be back in the mix. Davies started on the bench against Ayr United and Ross County, while Balogun was included in the starting lineup against St Johnstone.

Nevertheless, John Souttar has been predicted to keep his spot in the starting lineup with Connor Goldson as neither player has returned to the field since their injuries.

Barrie stated in an interview with The Rangers Review on February 20th that “having the options there is good.” Although there are a few more alternatives because Balogun and Ben Davies both played for the B squad yesterday, I would be tempted to keep John Souttar in right now.

Right now, I think it would be best to retain him on. Balogun has the option to return to the starting lineup whenever it is feasible, and because he is clearly playing with a mask, that will be taken into account.

Ben Davies or Leon Balogun to make a comeback for Rangers vs. Hearts?

It’s likely that Souttar will stay in the starting lineup because of his excellent performance after being brought back into the starting lineup while his colleagues were injured.BREAKING NEWS: Journo updates the Rangers team against the Hearts twice following Monday's developments.

Prior to the match against Ross County, Philippe Clement verified that Balogun had resumed training wearing a face mask to protect his face. This will still be taken into account when choosing his starting lineup against Hearts.

Additionally, it was revealed that Davies was expected to recover from injury in time for the Scottish Cup match against Ayr United. He was named to the bench for that match, just as he was for the Ross County match, but was left out of the St Johnstone game.

Both should be fit for the game, although it is unlikely that either will start; nevertheless, depending on how the game plays out, one of them may make an appearance from the bench.
