A new £100 million development brings a fresh turn to the Everton transfer crisis.
Manchester United hopes to generate £100 million in player sales this summer and wants to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite for about £50 million, according to iNews.
The news agency claims that the 21-year-old central defender is a part of a strategy for the Reds to add two center-backs to their roster this summer, with Juventus star Bremer also a target, on their website on March 13.
Everton is anticipated to accept a bid costing £65 million with add-ons to bring the whole value to £75 million. Manchester United is reportedly the team most interested in a trade, and Ashworth, the new director of football, is spearheading the campaign.
