In 25 games during his rookie campaign, Neemias Queta is averaging 4.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 60.5% from the field. He is presently playing for the Boston Celtics. 

During the offseason, the former Utah State standout inked a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics.

Queta, the 39th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, had played his first two seasons with the Sacramento Kings before joining Boston.

The Kings waived him in September.

Sacramento is still paying Queta $250,000 for the rest of the season because he had a partial contract guarantee (h/t to Yossi Gozlan of capsheets.com, Spotrac, and HoopsHype’s Sam Yip).

In 45 regular season games, Queta shot 56.3% from the field and averaged 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Player for the Boston Celtics still receives $250,000 from the Sacramento Kings.

Queta has played a significant amount of time in the G League in addition to his tenure with the Kings and Celtics.

This season, he has participated in five G League regular season games for the Maine Celtics. He is shooting 63.6% from the field and averaging 13.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game.

The Celtics, who have played 68 games and are 54-14, have been the best NBA club.

They are currently enjoying a six-game winning streak and have gone 8-2 in their past ten games.

The Celtics’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday night in Boston, where they will welcome Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks.
