BREAKING NEWS: Antonio Brown shares a regret from his Pittsburgh Steelers days.
Since the late 1990s, the Pittsburgh Steelers have selected a number of accomplished wide receivers, including Antonio Brown.
Over his nine seasons with the Steelers, he developed a close bond with Ben Roethlisberger that helped the team become one of the top attacks in football. However, there were some issues with that relationship towards the end of Brown’s stay in Pittsburgh, including a fight that caused Brown to miss practices and be excluded from a game.
Brown now expresses regret for his disagreements with Roethlisberger.

Ben and I share a very similar IQ, even though I feel like the media is trying to incite conflict between us. Occasionally, I would run and make routes, and he would toss the ball to me. That was our relationship. I only have excitement and love for Ben, no matter what the media portrays.
An Overpowering Run In partnership with the Steelers
From 2010 to 2018, Roethlisberger and Brown enjoyed enormous success together in Pittsburgh. The “Killer B’s” were among the strongest football offenses, along with Le’Veon Bell.
Brown spent nine seasons with the Steelers, leading the league in receptions in 2014 and 2015 as well as receiving yards in 2014 and 2017. He was selected to the first team of the All-Pro team four times and was nominated to seven Pro Bowls. In addition, he placed among the top three candidates for Offensive Player of the Year in 2014, 2015, and 2017. He caught 837 passes for 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns in all.
His tenure in Pittsburgh came to an abrupt end in 2019 when he forced his way off the team.
Following Brown’s Departure from the Steelers, his career followed an unusual route.
In the 2019 offseason, Brown made a trade request, and the Steelers dealt him to the Raiders.
He had a terrible time living in Oakland. He had frostbite on his feet following a cryotherapy session, which caused him to miss the most of training camp. Before he could play a snap for the squad, Brown had extremely public problems with the general manager of the team, which ultimately resulted in his dismissal.
On the same day that the Raiders released him, Brown signed a contract with the Patriots. His time in New England was likewise brief.
Before being discharged again due to off-field concerns, he only made one appearance in a game.
He was suspended for the first eight games of the 2020 season as a result of those problems, which kept him off the field for the remainder of the campaign.
Brown met up with former Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and Tom Brady in Tampa Bay during his suspension.
That season, they went on to win the Super Bowl.
Brown’s NFL career came to an end in 2021 when he rushed off the field during a Week 17 game against the Jets.
