Christian Pulisic, a former Chelsea player, recently accomplished something for AC Milan that no one else has done since Kaka.
A handful of Chelsea players who left before the season began have gone on to have successful careers outside from West London. There has been a particular attention on two players who moved to Europe and AC Milan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, who have had successful seasons there.
Both appear to have avoided the injury problems that plagued their time at Chelsea and have had a significant impact on Mauricio Pochettino and his current group this season.
The American has also recovered a consistent goal-scoring ability that Chelsea supporters had not seen during his stay here. He recently scored in a Serie A triumph over Lecce, accomplishing an incredible feat. Christian Pulisic matches Kaka’s goalscoring record. According to CentreGoals, the 25-year-old is the first midfielder to score ten goals for the club since Kaka. The Brazilian certainly goes down as a club legend in Milan, receiving the prestigious Ballon d’Or trophy for his performances in 2007, when his side went on to win the Champions League.
Pulisic, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, has worked hard this season to demonstrate to the Blues that their approach to the winger position is incorrect.
Chelsea have faith in Madueke and Mudryk.
Chelsea is very confident in the prospects of Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk, who were both signed in January 2023. However, due to limited gametime, the tandem has struggled to maintain consistency in their playing.
It remains to be seen whether Pochettino gives them the opportunity to start tonight against Everton, given the Englishman is coming off a strong individual effort against Sheffield United.
