A GIGANTIC SETBACKA: Najee Harris’s temper costs him, NFL Suspends Steelers RB Four games for “Unsportsmanlike conduct”.

STEELERS STAR RUNNING BACK NAJEE HARRIS SUSPENDED FOUR GAMES FOR UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has been suspended for four games without pay for violating the NFL’s conduct policy, the league announced today.

The suspension stems from an altercation during Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, where Harris was involved in a heated exchange with Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen. The incident escalated, resulting in Harris being ejected from the game.

According to the NFL, Harris’s actions were deemed unsportsmanlike and in violation of the league’s conduct policy, which prohibits physical confrontations or abusive language towards opponents, teammates, or officials.

“We take these incidents very seriously,” said NFL Vice President of Football Operations Jon Runyan in a statement. “Players are expected to maintain a level of sportsmanship and respect towards others, even in the heat of competition.”

Harris, the Steelers’ 2021 first-round draft pick, has been a key contributor to the team’s offense, rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons.

“Obviously, we’re disappointed in Najee’s actions,” said Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin. “We’ll support him through this process, but he must learn to manage his emotions and represent our organization with class.”

The suspension will cost Harris $230,000 in lost salary. He will miss the Steelers’ upcoming games against the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Chargers.
