NFL’s star quarterback wanted to attend college. Kirk Cousins, an NFL quarterback, attended Holland Christian High School and aspired to play for the Wolverines. Cousins went to Michigan State. Instead The Michigan native would remain in the state but attend Michigan State, where he played from 2008 to 2011, throwing for 9,131 yards and 66 touchdowns in 45 games. In the 2012 NFL Draft, Washington took Cousins with the 102nd overall choice. He spent six seasons there before moving to Minnesota for six, and he will now begin the final phase of his career in Atlanta.
