Scoot Henderson of the Blazers conducted an exit interview.
The Blazers held a few early end-of-season exit interviews Friday night following their loss to the Houston Rockets. Coming off one of his greatest performances of the season, a very optimistic rookie Scoot Henderson discussed his up-and-down year, which was cut short by injury. He talks about feeling accepted in Rose City, the significance of staying positive, his relationship with coaches, reading books, and moving into a new home. He also discusses his intentions for summer growth and whether he is a “goggles for life” type of person.
Henderson averaged 14.0 points on 38.5% shooting, along with 5.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.4 turnovers. It’s unknown whether he’ll play in Sunday’s season finale in Sacramento, given he’s already conducted his exit interview following some late-game cramps against the Rockets.
