BREAKING: Lalas reports that an AC Milan player may be dismissed by the next boss.

According to Lalas, Pulisic could yet be fired by the incoming AC Milan manager.

According to Alexi Lalas, Christian Pulisic’s fantastic season at AC Milan may be in vain if a new head coach does not value him. Pulisic scored a career-high 13 goals in his first season with AC Milan after joining from Chelsea last summer. However, Stefano Pioli, the coach who brought him to Milan and offered him a regular starting role, appears to be leaving at the end of the season, according to several reports.

Pulisic has thanked Pioli on numerous occasions for providing him with the platform he needed to relaunch his career. However, it appears that the US national team standout will have to establish himself all over again in the upcoming 2024-25 season. On his State of the Union Podcast, Lalas stated that managerial changes will be nothing new for Pulisic, but losing Pioli will not be a good thing for the 25-year-old.According to Lalas, Pulisic could yet be fired by the incoming AC Milan manager.

“He’s been around long enough, he’s a grizzled veteran, even at a relatively young age in his career, and he’s seen how quickly things can change,” he said. “I received a question on X this morning about, ‘Has he done enough?'” Yes, he has done more than enough to prove his worth and importance to Milan. In fact, I believe he’s been their best player.

“It doesn’t matter because when the guard changes, there is frequently a shift in mentality, and you have people who come in with predetermined thoughts, baggage, and ideas about where they want to go. “Who knows?” Christian Pulisic may be in the same situation as thousands of other players: they are just not part of the long-term plans. The good news for Christian Pulisic is that I believe there will be many suitors out there.

Pulisic and Milan will face Juventus in Serie A on Saturday, which might feature four USMNT players: Yunus Musah for Milan and Weston McKennie and Tim Weah for Juventus. Lalas discusses Pulisic’s AC Milan situation.
