BREAKING: South Carolina Gamecocks Gala: Who took home the prizes?.
The Gamecock Gala was held on Monday night, and many South Carolina Gamecocks from throughout the athletic department arrived at Colonial Life Arena dressed to the nines to see who would walk away with trophies.
The Gamecock Gala is held every school year, thus Monday’s event commemorated the 2023-2024 academic calendar; however, spring sports such as baseball, softball, track, and others have yet to conclude their seasons.
The proceedings were hosted/emceed by South Carolina volleyball’s Oby Anadi and South Carolina basketball point guard Ta’Lon Cooper (previously the host of the wildly successful “Ta’Lon Tuesday” social media campaign), and Anadi and Cooper assisted in facilitating and announcing awards for athletes and teams in fall, winter, and spring sports.
