Terry Rozier could miss the Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers game due to a new ailment.

Terry Rozier could miss the Miami Heat’s crucial game against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday. The point guard is classified as questionable on the team’s injury report, likely due to neck stiffness. Some people may be surprised by Rozier’s injury because there had been no previous reports of him suffering from it.

He suffered a knee injury in the Heat’s 109-105 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. Fortunately, the 30-year-old floor general was fit to play in Miami’s next game. He scored 13 points to help the Sixers beat the Houston Rockets and get back on track after losing their three-game winning run.

The Heat may need him again when they meet the Pacers, as the outcome of the game might have postseason implications for both players. Miami currently owns the No. 7 seed, with a 43-34 record. Indiana leads by a half-game. Furthermore, the teams have one win each in the regular season series. So, a win on Sunday would boost the Heat’s chances of winning an outright postseason berth, especially if they finish the regular season with the same record as the Pacers.Terry Rozier could miss the Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers game due to a new ailment.

Miami had to go through the play-in round in 2022-23, dropping one game to the Atlanta Hawks before overcoming the Chicago Bulls to secure the No. 8 seed. Things could be different this year, as the Heat may benefit from not having to go through the play-in process again.

The reigning Eastern Conference champions will get Tyler Herro back on the court against the Rockets after being out for more than a month. The former Sixth Man of the Year scored 17 points off the bench on Friday, and the injury report shows him as eligible for Miami’s game against Indiana. Duncan Robinson is also available despite an illness, as he appears to be suffering with the left facet syndrome that forced him to miss five games in late March.

It remains to be seen if Rozier will join them on the court or watch from the sidelines.
