Milan is accepting Maignan sales after a substitute is found.
In the summer, Milan is apparently willing to let Mike Maignan go for the right price, and they have already identified a potential successor. After a challenging season, the Rossoneri have begun to prepare for the summer transfer window and are hoping to add three or four significant reinforcements in an attempt to cut the gap with rivals Inter.
Like Newcastle United’s approach for Sandro Tonali last summer, Milan has already begun to compile their wish list and are willing to cash in on a star player to help fund these acquisitions. Prior to the summer, Maignan, Theo Hernandez, and Rafael Leao appear to be the most likely contenders. According to Tuttosport, Milan has determined that Michele Di Gregorio of Monza is a strong substitute for Maignan and would be willing to trade the player for a sizable offer in the summer. Milan recognises Maignan’s recent progress with Monza.
The 26-year-old Italian shot stopper is being closely pursued by Juventus and Inter in addition to the Rossoneri.
