CONFIRMED: Anthony Davis is ruled out for two weeks due to eye injury against worriors.

NBA player Anthony Davis leaves the game against the Warriors due to an eye injury.

Anthony Davis, the big man for the Los Angeles Lakers, left Saturday’s game against the Golden State Warriors because of an eye injury.

With only a few seconds left in the first quarter, Davis was spotted leaving for the locker room at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. NBA player Trayce Jackson-Davis seemed to have given the nine-time All-Star a poke in the eye.

Davis’ left eye started to bulge noticeably, and it was obvious that he was uncomfortable.

A alleged eye abrasion later caused the Lakers star to be declared ineligible to play.

Davis’s Achilles problem made him doubtful for the game on Saturday. After playing less than 12 minutes, he finished the game with eight points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Davis, who is having his best season as a Lakers player, is hurting badly from the eye injury. Of the 68 games the Lakers have played this season, 64 have been started by Davis. The former Kentucky player hasn’t participated in more than 62 games since his time with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017–18.
