Star guard Stephen Curry recently suffered an ankle injury, which has forced him to miss some games at a time when the team most needs him to stay in the running for the playoffs in a very competitive Western Conference. As if things weren’t bad enough for the storied NBA franchise this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers, who have also had a difficult season thus far, are just looking to be in the postseason come next month, and the Warriors are desperately clinging to the 10th slot in the West.
Thankfully for the Warriors, it seems Curry may not miss much longer, which is certainly encouraging for the team’s chances of staying competitive and in the postseason.
Kendra Andrews of ESPN reports that Curry is good to go back to his on-court exercises.
The Warriors’ next game against LeBron James and company will be important because the team is now tied with the Lakers for the third seed in the Western Conference.
On Wednesday night, Golden State will play the Dallas Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic, on the road. On Saturday, the team will travel to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to play the Lakers, where Curry may make his court comeback.
