BREAKING NEWS: Injury Expert: Given what transpired against St Johnstone, a Rangers star might be sidelined for weeks.

Dr Rajpal Brar said that Todd Cantwell, an offensive midfielder for Rangers, could be sidelined for several weeks or months due to a hamstring issue.

The injury specialist had seen him come off during Sunday’s 3-0 victory against St Johnstone, February 18.

He spoke with Philippe Clement before taking off, and Sky Sports subsequently played footage of him maybe tending to a hamstring problem.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

“He was seen clutching his hamstring, which was later strapped on.

Before he came off, there were even discussions with the manager.

Even though it’s not good news, it’s difficult to determine the extent; a Grade 1 injury, which heals over the course of one to ten days, would be the best scenario.BREAKING NEWS: Injury Expert: Given what transpired against St Johnstone, a Rangers star might be sidelined for weeks.

However, a Grade 3, which lasts longer than three months, is the worst case scenario.

Rangers must wait anxiously to find out if Todd Cantwell is fit.

Cantwell is one of Clement’s most vital players and has been a standout performer for his team this season.

He is the one that brings everything together in the last third, and even in the match against St Johnstone, he was active while players like Scott Wright and Fabio Silva were having trouble.

Hopefully, it won’t be as severe as missing months of action and he can get back to playing as soon as possible.

Regarding past Rangers, a horrible video of Michael Beale at Sunderland demonstrates why the current Gers are far superior.
