As long as Manchester United is still interested, journalist Luke Edwards has projected the precise date that Dan Ashworth will depart Newcastle United.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Newcastle might demand a payment of £20 million from Man United, who refuse to pay, or put Ashworth on a 20-month gardening leave.

Ashworth will formally join Man United in 2025, according to Edwards’ prediction on X, but they will have to pay Newcastle a big compensation sum first.

Newcastle is getting ready to lose Ashworth.

Ashworth has previously stated unequivocally that he wants to play for Manchester United, so it appears that his time with Newcastle is running out.

Newcastle, however, continues to have a lot of influence because the 52-year-old could not be able to begin his new post at Old Trafford until the January window of 2026.
